COVID-19: Seeking the Invitations in THE Interruption https://portal.thehlayer.com/covid-19-seeking-the-invitations-in-the-interruption/ Thu, 15 Oct 2020 06:55:59 +0000 https://portal.thehlayer.com/?p=693 March of this year, the advent of COVID-19 brought everything to a screeching halt in the United States. Like everyone else, I was shocked, frightened, and frustrated. All plans personally and professionally were derailed for the foreseeable future. When sharing my angst and concerns with a colleague, I gained an entirely new perspective on the situation. She noted that the greatest invitations in Life come through the biggest interruptions. Hmmm! I was intrigued by this remark. No doubt, COVID-19 is the biggest interruption in recent history. So I wonder, what are we now invited to do? Who are we invited to be? What are we to do with this once-in-a-lifetime invitation? Please join me to ponder these and many other questions.
